About Us
We are a Gamblers Anonymous group based in Texas who meet virtually. You’re Fort Worth It (YFWI) has 12 meetings per week and the meeting timings can be found on the calendar page.
Newcomers are encouraged to send contact and mailing information for newcomer packets by text to the Hotline or by E-mail to our confidential E-mail address.
If you want to know more about our group, an FAQ is available to members explaining the position of YFWl’s Group Conscience on a variety of topics, including:
- How to get on our phone list or receive a copy of it
- What a Pressure Relief Group Meeting is and how to get one
- What a Sponsor or Temporary Sponsor is and how to get one
- What additional literature from YFWI is available via E-mail on request
- How you can serve the group when you’re ready
- How you can contribute to the group when you’re ready
- YFWl’s zero tolerance policy on unwanted solicitation or harassment
- Avoiding the exchange of money or anything of value between GA members
- Avoiding discussing the Gamban app or self-exclusion (banning oneself from casinos) during GA meetings
- When and how newcomers should share their contact information
According to GA’s Unity Program Step 7, there are no dues or fees for GA membership. We are self-supporting through our own contributions. Talk to one another and your Trusted Servants, but let there be no gossip or criticism. Let the peace and understanding of the program guide you One Day at a Time.
